THE SNOBALL

Hostess Sno Balls are chocolate cream filled pastries, covered with marshmallow and topped with coconut flakes. Sno Balls are usually pink; however, they are also available in chocolate, lemon, white, green, blue and other colors for specific holidays and times of year. Sno Balls were first introduced in 1947. They were baked for the first time after the war when a rationing ban on flour and sugar was lifted in the US. They come in different colors to coincide with different holidays:

Green (Lucky Puffs) - St. Patrick's Day
Lavender (Hoppers) - Easter
Neon Green (Glo Balls) - Halloween
Orange (Scary Cakes) - Halloween
White - Winter

Please, note while ordering: you can receive a package with any color. You can find all our Hostess products if you click HERE!

THE SNOBALL FAMLY

Sno Balls are usually pink; however, they are also available in chocolate, lemon, white, green, blue and other exciting colors for specific holidays and times of year. Sno Balls were first introduced in 1947. Hostess attributes their initial popularity to Americans being released from the flour and sugar rationing during World War II. It is an all-American snack cake and Snoballs are enjoyed by  grandparents as much as they are enjoyed by children. A half-sphere of chocolate cake infused with cream, coated in a layer of perfectly sticky marshmallow then rolled in coconut, there’s basically nothing a Snoball can’t do to satisfy a sweet-tooth. There’s simply no better coconut-flaked, oddly shaped offering in the Hostess lineup. The marshmallow frosting sits like a helmet on top of the chocolate cake layer, forming a kind of rudimentary s’more in reverse. And they come in so meny wonderful colors!

Orange Sno Ball: Many Americans argue that Spooky season isn’t complete without these orange snacks. These chocolate cakes are coated with marshmallow, rolled in orange coconut and stuffed with crème filling.

Pink Sno Ball: Who knew marshmallow would look so pretty in pink? These chocolate cakes are coated with marshmallow, rolled in pink coconut and stuffed with crème filling.

Purple Sno Ball: Is it a snack, or fun-colored accessory? One taste and you’ll know the answer. These chocolate cakes are coated with marshmallow, rolled in lavender coconut and stuffed with crème filling.
