Mountain Dew Voltage was designed by Mountain Dew fans during the first phase of DEWmocracy back in 2007 and would be released over the summer of 2008 to compete with Mountain Dew Supernova and Mountain Dew Revolution to become a permanent flavor of the Mountain Dew Family. In August, voting had ended and Mountain Dew Voltage was announced the winner, holding astonishing 41% of the votes! Mountain Dew Voltage is charged with raspberry citrus flavor and ginseng. Despite its powerful sounding name, Voltage only holds slightly more caffeine compared to the regular Mountain Dew. Never the less, the Tasty America crew has fallen head over heels with Mountain Dew Voltage and we hope you will too!
