The United States has, in recent years, only become hotter and hotter as a destination for us Swedes. It's not just New York that draws us there. Los Angeles, Miami and San Francisco are all in the top 10 of major cities outside Europe that we Swedes visit most. Travel surveys show that twice as many Swedes travel to the United States as to Thailand.

During our travels we experienced a flavor overload from delicious cakes, classic pies, exciting pastries, irresistible cupcakes, creamy sauces, savory pies and much more.

My greatest passion in the kitchen has always been the baking. As a five-year-old, I felt like a little pastry master; when I stood next to my mom and helped mix the batter, garnish the cake or brush the cookies. This love has only grown over the years and much of my inspiration has accumulated during my travels to the United States and cookbooks such as Roy Fares's "United States of Cakes", where the very best, most beautiful, most delicious and the most tempting pastries that the United States are included.

We, at Tasty America, will do our utmost to showcase as many goodies as possible from the US that tickle the taste buds, baking, cooking, snacks and sweets. Of course, we always keep an eye out for  products that have cut down on fat, sugar and / or carbohydrates so that even the health conscious can find what they are looking for.

Our goal is to constantly renew our range to present new exciting products and flavors.
